WHAT THEY ARE WEARING: New York Fashion Week Men’s Ss18
I have had many blessings in participating in almost ever facet of Fashion Week. As a model, producer, stylist and even a dresser. Here are some of the most memorable Fashion Week moments.
"Here's to you Mr. Robinson"
On the eve of the Artist’s Residency Opening Reception in Manhattan, NY, lifelong friend Trevor Moppin gives an insight into who Paix Robinson really is.
“Artist. Human. In that order.” is Paix Robinson’s defining affirmation. Those simple words are more than just his brand, they are his philosophy. A painter, poet, dancer, model, francophile, art director, even the word “artist” fails to do justice to the world of boundless creativity he inhabits. Anyone who’s spent more than five minutes in his company can attest to his charming, hustling, irrepressible dynamism. Not to mention his marriage to the color blue.....
Anyone who knows Paix, knows his vibrant spirit, intelligent poetic voice, and signature style.
His latest works are launching him to a larger audience and we couldn't be prouder. As a contributor to Collective over the past year we have had the pleasure of working side by side with him as he runs teams and art directs in his signature, envy-worthy 70's vintage and not-yet-out designer pieces with ease and sparks of brilliance.
So when we couldn't imagine being anymore charmed by him he comes out with another reason to pay attention. His Painting. Rather poetry in paint. So, New Yorkers, you are in luck. He has a residency coming up for four Months beginning this August and it's one you'll want to visit time and time again.....

A Portrait of An Artist
" LA VIE BOHME EN BLEU" by Michael Pitter explores the artistic cave, both visual and mental, of an artist. Taking a peak inside the studio and progress towards a new series of paintings entitled Strange Bleu.
PAIX: On the Street
It all started on a random fall day while smoking a cigarette outside the corporate offices of Marc Jacobs International. " Hey, can I take your picture?"- is all I would come to hear after that.
